| The garage, a day before. I set
up the terrain the day before to save time the day of the show. Here's
the base structure at 6' x 12'. |
 |
The terrain about half way through.
It's tough to figure out what will make a balanced board at this size. |
 |
| View from the "Back 40". Marshlands leading
to flat, prairie with small ruins leading to a small imperium base, complete
with power generators. |
 |
The next mornging, sun shining, birds singing
- the garage awaits the carnage. |
 |
| The combined Ork force. |
 |
A smattering of the proxy critters for Tyranids
and Chaos. |
 |
| Forces of the Imperium awaiting deployment. |
 |
Orks and Imperial Guard deploy a garrison
force of long range weapons to defend the city side of the table. The
"spider" is proxy for a Hierophant (which worked very well) and the Rancor
is a Titan (Warhound) proxy. |
 |
| Choas filth amasses at the edges of teh swamp
for cover, waiting thier turn to rush into battle. |
 |
Many, many, many, many, many, many, many,
many, many, many, many, many, many, gaunts swamp the city sector, striking
fear and incertainty into the ork and hoomie forces. |
 |
| The view down the "main street" of town.
It doesn't look good with only a Chimera and two lootas left. Those things
look BIG! |
 |
One turn and 7 hours later.... All forces
hav efinally deployed! Yay! Ork Fighta bombas scour the landscape, repeatedly
removing tons of gaunts, but they keep coming back! |
 |
| Lotst of Ork Tanks deploy to harass the Gargantuan
creatures from the rear. |
 |
Orks fill up the rest of the deployment zones,
ready to surround the enemy and crush'em. We'll never find out though
as this is the last turn. |
