Big Mek Battle vs Uberdark – Wazdakka – Heavy Duty

Got some more work done today: Work on Wazdakka himself as I needed the right hand in place so I could put on the knuckle guards. capped the engine block top and the top of the upper receiver on the Dakkakannon, and got about half of the exhaust completed.

He’s starting to look like a bad ass, heavy metal motorcycle now. The song i get i nmy head when I imaging the finished product is Judas Priests “Heavy Duty”.

Yep, that’s what I want to feel when I see him come rolling onto the battlefield!

There’s still a ton of bit-work to do. The space above the left side (drivers side, if in a car) will get a gun rack put there to hold the mega blaster so he can reach over with his right hand to grab it if he runs out of dakka on the bike. The other saddlebag will reserved for Fixit and the meks tools and maybe the stikkbombs.

Other small details I’m hoping to work in yet: small pair of headlight eyes, some armor on the front struts, a bigger mek/biker glyph coming up behind the seat, bullets streaming out of the guns (fingers crossed for this one), and some kind of detailing on the back fender. Of course there’s how I’m going to tie down the fuel drums and fun gas lines after they come in. And then there’s the base and his PK.

Shit, just as I start thinking I’m getting close to being done I have to list things out like this to remind me how much I have left to do! Aaaagh!

Anyway, I’m having fun figuring this beast out and can’t wait to see him finished either (I’m still hoping to get maybe 5 or 6 votes… hehe)
