Charlemagne the Bear from Steamforged Games – Finished
It only took me three and a half momths, but I’m finally finished!
To be honest though, I’ve been extremely busy and this was completed in 1-2 hour spurts when I could find the time. I’m about %80 happy with the final result, and know that I need to spend quite a bit more time behind the brush to get back where I was when I went on hiatus.
During this time, I did have the opportunity to go to The Renegade Open in Plymouth to represent the Granite City Waaagh!Fest tournament. While there, I got to meet up with Alex Hunt, who runs the Dwarven Axe painting competition there. Viewing all of the amazing entries has kinda fired my imagination and drive to try and force myself to pick the brush up a little more often. This, along with the season changing in here in Minnesota to arctic tundra, I should have more time indoors to put towards this task.
I’ve got about a dozen single models in the queue, but I’m pretty sure then next models will be some Necromunda Escher Gangers so I can start playing some games at the Tuesday night gaming nights at the FLGS.
Later!
