Sukigod’s Ghazghkull

OK – don’t tell my other thread this but I’m getting kinda sick of assembly line painting 40 boyz. Not sick enough to give’em up but enough to start something else – kinda like a reward for getting another tedious round of skin tones done. As my “reward” I’ve chosen to finally paint a Ghazghkull Mag Uruk Thraka model.

I’ve had two of them for a number of years and haven’t painted them because I really wanted to get better at painting before I tackled this big guy and do it justice. I feel that I can do it now after finishing the Shokk Attack Gun Big Mek and it went well.

Sooo…. Here’s the obligatory starting shot. I’ve cleaned up the parts – filed, sanded, and washed.I’ve used poster putty to cover the surfaces that will be glued to each other so I won’t have to scrape the primer off later.
