Skypad Details

Made some small progress on the Skypad over the last few days. I spent about 3 hours masking off the chevron areas and painting them yellow. Masking can be a tough and tricky deal. This photo shows the worst part of the job after removing the tape.

The tape wasn’t stuck down well enough and some of the paint seeped under it. Mot too hard to clean up afterwards with come Chaos Black. I also went and blacked out all of the small beacon lights surrounding the platform. There’s almost as many of those as skulls on this thing!

Here’s where it sits after chevrons, cleanup and lights. I wanted to have the lights blacked out before I start the weathering process as I’ll be doing those last so they have a bit of fresh pop when it’s done.
